Operation Immunization, SNPhA, and University Health are hosting the annual campus wide FLU FIGHTERS to ensure all of our staff, faculty, and students are able to get their flu shot for FREE with their UTHSC ID. This is the 15th anniversary of students pharmacists immunizing on campus! This year things are going to be a little different than how we’ve done Flu Fighters in the past due to COVID-19, so Flu Fighters will be held for 4 DAYS! Throughout the week there will be spots available for P1+ volunteers and P2+ immunizers. That’s right! It’s ALL hands on deck! Additionally, students and faculty will be signing up to be immunized by student pharmacists through 5 minute appointment slots ONLY (please use the appointment link UHS provides via email if you want to be immunized too!). This new system is to make sure we are complying with the social distancing guidelines and to ensure not only our student pharmacists are safe, but also our staff, faculty, and students from other professions are also receiving the best quality and safety!
