At the Memphis Farmer’s Market, Operation Heart and Operation Diabetes will be collaborating to provide heart healthy and diabetes friendly recipes. This will give us a chance to educate patients on the importance of diet for both cardiovascular health and diabetes prevention. With Thanksgiving around the corner, this will allow us to offer some healthy dish ideas for the holiday. We will also be able to educate patients on other risk factors and prevention strategies.
